Many factors are taken into consideration when selecting volunteers for ISU World Figure Skating Championships 2021. These include successfully completing the volunteer application, successfully completing criminal records check and accepting the position offered. Once I get selected, can I change volunteer roles?
Unfortunately we cannot accept requests for volunteer position changes once assigned. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding regarding this matter. Please note, however that the role or area you have been assigned to may change in the lead up to the event. When this is required we will give notification as soon as possible. There may also be times on-site where you are asked to assist in another volunteer area.
Will volunteers be able to watch the event?
Volunteers will have the opportunity to watch the competitions pending on seat availability, we cannot guarantee available seats. We ask the volunteers to remove their accreditation tag and change from their volunteer clothing. If the ticket holder for the seat arrives, we ask the volunteer to quickly and quietly move to a new seat.

Volunteers who need accommodation can get help from the Organizing Committee with booking rooms at the Motel L By Ligula – Hammarby Sjöstad. You will not be reimbursed for the expenses of the accommodation, this also includes travel, and/or mileage and other expenses.

Every volunteer will get a food ticket for every 8 hours work shift depending on the scheduling. Those who work full days, from early morning to late evening, receive two food tickets. Except for the hot meals there will also be coffee, tea, fruit and sandwiches throughout the days. The food and beverage will be found in the volunteer lounge.
Will special clothing be required and provided for the event?
All volunteers will receive a volunteer clothing that must be worn during working hours. You will be able to keep these clothes after the event. Exactly what type of clothes are different depending on the working group and will be clarified later on.
